Ultrasonography is a radiation-free imaging method that uses high-frequency sound waves to visualize internal organs, soft tissues, and blood vessels. Doppler ultrasonography is a special ultrasound technique used to examine blood flow within vessels, as well as narrowing or blockages in vessels.

USG is one of the most commonly used and first-choice imaging methods in many diseases. Because it is painless, easy to apply, and safe, it can be comfortably used in all age groups.

• Thyroid, lymph nodes, and superficial tissues

• Color Doppler studies of arteries and veins

• Evaluation of narrowing or blockages in neck arteries (carotid) and leg vessels
